Overview

Coca-Cola Coin is an unofficial Solana token that borrows the branding of the Coca-Cola soft-drink company. It has no affiliation with the company. Attention around the token originated from a short-form video circulating on TikTok rather than from any product or protocol announcement.

Origin

On 23 August 2026, the account @Kr1yo1 described the situation as follows:

"A trader on fomo is going viral on TikTok for getting rugged on an obviously bundled Coca-Cola coin after his friend told him to full-port. Now he's been sent 100x his original supply, this story can grow fast. Even my IRLs have seen the TT. $Coca Cola - 3k mc rn"

The video shows a retail trader placing the whole of his available balance into a Coca-Cola themed token on the advice of a friend, and subsequently losing the position when the supply, which observers described as bundled across coordinated wallets, was sold.

First relaunch attempt

On 23 August 2026, the account @gorgebot (a parody account) published the first known post proposing a new token built around the meme, noting that the TikTok clip had already passed 300,000 views and calling the story a stronger narrative than other tokens trading far higher.

"How is nobody talking about this? This is literally a better narrative than catalyst that ran to 3m two days ago. A trader was just rugged on 'Coca-Cola Coin' and posted the video on TikTok and it's climbing in viewership, with over 300k views on it already."

The post identified the wallet of the trader shown in the video, confirmed that his balance was unchanged, and announced a remake of the token under the same name and ticker, with five per cent of creator fees directed to that wallet.

Attention did not settle on the remake. After the post circulated, buying concentrated on the original token instead, and that contract remained the reference market for the meme.

Community response

Following the spread of the clip, community members reportedly transferred the trader approximately one hundred times his original token holding. That gesture, together with the reach of the original video, became the principal narrative attached to the token.

Market snapshot

At the time of the post the token was reported at a market capitalisation of roughly 3,000 US dollars. Interest in the entry is driven by the story rather than by liquidity or trading depth.
